We only collect what you choose to share. When you use the contact form, we receive your name, company, email, phone number, and message, which are stored on this site and sent to Michel by email so he can reply. If you subscribe to the Fortin File newsletter, Substack handles your signup under its own privacy policy, and booking a call through TidyCal works the same way. We use this information to respond to you, deliver what you asked for, and understand how the site is used. There are no user accounts on this site, and no payments are taken here.

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information you've shared with us at any time. Email contact@michelfortin.com and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any issue. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

This site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection, is hosted with BigScoots, and is protected by Cloudflare against attacks and spam. Access to the site's administration and to contact form submissions is restricted to authorized users. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share.

We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the services that run this site, which are BigScoots (hosting), Cloudflare, Google (Analytics and Tag Manager), Microsoft Clarity, Meta (Facebook pixel), Ahrefs analytics, Substack, and TidyCal, or when the law requires it. Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy.

We use cookies and similar technologies to measure visits, see which pages are useful, and learn how people find the site. These come from Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity (which records how visitors scroll and click), the Meta pixel, and Ahrefs analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and the site still works without them.
